Description
The Museux Tenaculum Forceps is a heavy-duty instrument used for a firm grip on the cervix or uterus during demanding gynecological procedures. It is often preferred over the single-pronged Pozzi forceps because its 2x2 teeth design distributes the grip over a wider area, offering more security when handling heavy tissue or providing significant traction.
The 24 cm (9 ½") length is ideal for reaching deep into the pelvic cavity, while the 10 mm jaw width provides a substantial contact area for a secure hold. It is commonly used in hysterectomies, dilation and curettage (D&C), and for uterine manipulation.
